Primitive

Medium: Acrylic

Date: Spring, 2018

Description: This piece is a statement against society and social standards requiring women to cover their bodies and not be provocative. The use of primary colors coupled with a nude body in an unrestrained pose against an abstract background breaking free from the rigid geometry of shapes brings the woman’s form into a primitive state. We were born this way and should not be forced to cover up.
